Hi Anna,

Yip, trip seemed like ages ago but was really good.  A great experience for us all.  Big eye opener for the kids.
Best hotel had to be in Chang Mai, excellent place to stay, lovely staff and nice and quiet.  Chang mai was a really good place to explore, the tiger place was really good too.  Very different from Krabi and Bangkok.  Elephants were good and we also did a motor bike tour which was pretty intrepid and probably not for soft travellers!!!  Was good (something different tours) but a little rustic.

The places you suggested were excellent.  Especially the stay at Crown Lanta. Was a great spot to explore the island. Very relaxed which was probably the only place that wasn’t really busy and hectic.  Also the property was really nice.  Good way to chill before going back to Bangkok and then home.

Krabi was an interesting place too but the property we stayed at needs some tlc.  When we arrived they had downgraded us because of a problem with aircon. Then we got upgraded to a family room which was nice but had a really bad smell. We hope they are looking into the problem cause I think it is a damp problem that the whole level seemed to have.  Good location though and if they fix the damp probs will probably be good.
We did love the long boats there though and the sea/islands are awesome. We climbed to the top of the tiger temple while there and although a mission, was good fun. 

Thank you for your suggestion also for hotel in Bangkok, was in an excellent location.
All in all, we loved our trip and don’t think any of us will forget the experiences in a hurry.
