Hello Nirmala

We returned to Christchurch on Wednesday afternoon to 11 degrees coming from mid 30's in Phuket.  It could have been much worse, we think Christchurch has been kind to us weather wise since returning.

Thailand was nothing but awesome and we had a brilliant time.  Already recommending to people that they should go.  Highlights of our trip - too many to mention.  But we managed to see many temples, go on a elephant safari, see tigers, go rafting, sea walking, snorkelling, parasailing, relaxing by the pool, markets and so much more.

Now we are trying to decide where our next trip will be.

Accommodation in Bangkok was awesome, Chiangmai the room was a little dated although we thought that would be the case.  Next time we may of upgraded but it fitted our purpose.  Our Phuket stay was good too at Karon Beach, but if we went again we would possible stay near Kata Beach for the beach or maybe Patong for the nightlife.  We experienced excellent service at each of the hotels.

Thank you very much for all your help.  We are really pleased we got to Chiangmai as we had been told we were cramming to much in but are pleased we got to Chiangmai.
