We had a fantastic holiday! We absolutely LOVED the tours that we had pre arranged in Bangkok. The reps from Absolutely Fantastic Holidays - Song and his driver were fantastic, I would highly recommend their services - they certainly live up to the brands name.
Song is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, we were a little disappointed when our time with them was over.
 
We are glad we booked the Bangkok by Night tour even though it was an extremely long day we would not have been able to see so many amazing sites had we not chosen to book this tour.
The Elephant Ride, Bamboo Rafting and Tiger Temple tour was just as good. The river was too low for us to do the bamboo ride, however that didn't both us as the Elephants and the Tigers were the main reason for us booking this tour - we were given extended time with the Elephant in lieu of not being able to do the rafting. Another great tour, I think this would have been my husbands highlight of the holiday!
The accommodation in Bangkok was excellent we loved the hotel and its facilities. The accommodation in Patong however was a little disappointing - the hotel, its facilities and its staff were great! It was just our room was rather old and rundown, it was a bit of a let down when we walked into our room on arrival. This was probably more noticeable due to the fact we had just come from the amazing more upmarket accommodation in Bangkok. There was also construction happening during our stay, upgrading by the looks of it......so days relaxing by the pool were masked with the sounds of hammering and power tools so we didn't spend as much time onsite as we possibly would have.
 
Overall our holiday was great next time we will go for longer!
