SEPTEMBER 2014

Hi Joy,

We had an awesome time I made friends with a very sweet baby elephant and ended up organising our whole trip around her! We went to Chalong everyday just to see her and feed her, haha. She was also the only elephant whose owner wasn't carrying around a stick hook to hit her with and she had a great personality very cheeky and cuddly and always wanted to kiss us she also sucked my boyfriend’s head she liked us a lot I think.

I cried so much leaving her! She was definitely the highlight of my trip! Also definitely would NOT recommend going to Fanta Sea as I thought it was a bit cruel on the animals! Centara Karon was great & really lovely staff and security guards. Food was good but my partner got very bad food poisoning from two chefs at the restaurant, but all the food we ate on the street he was fine with which was strange. Did lots of shopping and lucky for us the weather was amazing as we were told the week before the weather was bad! Would definitely go back to Centara Karon. We also enjoyed the location of Karon as it was central to everything and very glad we didn't stay in Patong or Kata!  

Hope you haven't been working too hard! And thanks so much for helping us get to Thailand was an awesome holiday next time we will stay a lot longer!
