Our trip to Singapore was fantastic!!!    We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. We spent one night on level 8 and then we requested to be moved to a higher level.  This was not a problem for the staff and we were delighted with level 22.  (Level 8 was very noisy and looked out onto the pool). We were pleased with our choice of room.  It was worth paying a little more for a larger area with a separate seating area. All the Staff at the Swissotel was extremely professional and helpful and the restaurants/cafes/bars were great.  The location of the hotel is wonderful for using the train and also walking around the city. We would stay here again and would recommend it.  It is an extremely busy hotel but they are very efficient and very customer focused.

Singapore Airlines Business Class was truly an amazing experience. From the time of check-in until you leave the aircraft.  A lovely way to travel!  The Aircraft on our return flight was not of the same standard as the outgoing flight and the inside of the aircraft was looking very shabby.  However the service and attention was wonderful. Their Staff are credit to the Airline.  Each flight was on time leaving and arriving on both legs of the journey.

We would recommend using the Train from Changi Airport to the city.

Singapore $ 2.40 per person and it took 30mins.  The Town Hall stop is at the entrance to the Swissotel - extremely convenient.

Singapore has grown and evolved so much since our last visit some 15 years ago.  It is a beautiful city and the Marina Bay area is gorgeous.  The city is still clean, easy to get around and has a lovely safe feeling.

It is hard to pinpoint highlights as we enjoyed everything we did. The Evening Light show is good and also the Singapore Flyer - wonderful views of the city.  The Marina Bay Shopping Mall is a "must" to see. 

Amazing building as are the Singapore Gardens.
